Holiday in Bulgarevo

A famous cultural site near the village of Bulgarevo is the "Cape Kaliakra" reserve. One can find a lot of vegetation and animal species there. In order to preserve nature, animals and plants, the village participates in a Swiss program for conservation of the environment, whose cultural - information center can be found in the center of Bulgarevo.

The village of Bulgarevo is situated in north-east Bulgaria near cape Kaliakra, Kavarna Municipality. The population of the village is about 1500, and it's a cosy, beautiful and pleasant place for rest. It is situated near the "Rusalka" resort, the "Dulboka" area with the famous clam farm, as well as the "Bolata" area - a 6 km long winding canyon with changing vegetation, caves, a marsh with rare species birds, ending with a small picturesque bay, near cape Kaliakra. It was first described in the 19th century by the Shkorpil brothers. During the past years the village of Bulgarevo has developed its infrastructure and increased the places you can stay. A lot of private houses and family hotels, offering very good conditions have been opened.
